Job Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for manage project, schedule and cost. Support new production launches, develop and maintain documented processes. This role is focused on engineering in the Safety Systems area with the Steering Wheels Department.


  • BS in Engineering or 2 years of related experience
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • PLC Experience Preferred
  • Overtime when needed
  • Develop and / or maintain documented processes for new or existing production parts and assembly line process equipment.
  • Support pre-production trial activities by tracking and reporting data acquired from the trials and develop countermeasures for problem areas uncovered during the trials.
  • Take countermeasure for production equipment, tools and process concerning scrap, labor or customer issue improvements.
  • Manage equipment installations (mechanically and electronically); work with contractors to establish a schedule
  • Support new production launches for sample submissions
  • Support the production floor by helping address daily problems
  • Manage project schedules as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Skilled in AutoCAD or other drafting software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Follow and implement TS 16949 Quality Standards

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $36.06 - $43.27 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
