Description

We are seeking a Full Service Technician responsible for the reconditioning, reassembly, and testing of pole mount transformers. This role requires strict adherence to safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies while meeting production and customer specifications.

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

  • Monday-Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Read and follow work order instructions to rebuild transformers to customer specifications
  • Gather required parts and tools, and ensure they are in proper working condition
  • Recondition and reassemble pole mount transformers, including cleaning, inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing oil, and performing basic repairs
  • Perform quality checks and basic testing prior to units leaving the workstation
  • Safely operate shop tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as needed
  • Return equipment to proper locations after use
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company compliance requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Mechanical and transformer experience preferred
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred
  • Proven commitment to safety excellence
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders
  • Ability to meet department production goals
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to complete required safety and compliance training
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and ladder climbing
  • Ability to balance and maintain three points of contact on ladders for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled manufacturing environments

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Able to Lift 50 pounds
  • Drug Test
  • Must be at least 18 years old
