Job Responsibilities
There are multiple departments within the buildings, responsibilities will depend on where you are placed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Loads and unloads parts from the machining line.
- Inspects machined parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- May operate a forklift to move production parts.
- Audits special parts as designed from die casting.
- Melts re-melt, sows and ingot.
- Pours and pulls ladles as directed.
- Runs samples for analyzing chemical composition of aluminum.
- Cleans holding furnaces.
- Performs 5S housekeeping throughout and at end of shift.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to learn and cross-train in multiple areas.
- Plant conditions, including exposure to noise, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
- Regular exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 49 pounds
- Drug Test
- Stand for Shift Duration
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
