We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Facilities Laborer to support the day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of our automotive manufacturing plant. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized facility by assisting with floor painting, machine clean-outs, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the plant environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Paint safety lines, work zones, and traffic areas on shop floors in accordance with plant safety standards
- Clean and remove debris, sludge, and excess materials from machinery, pits, and work areas
- Perform general cleaning tasks including pressure washing, sweeping, mopping, and waste removal
- Assist maintenance staff with minor facility repairs and upkeep (e.g., patching, painting, replacing signage)
- Safely handle and dispose of industrial waste and cleaning chemicals in compliance with regulations
- Set up and take down temporary barriers, signs, and equipment as needed for maintenance projects
- Support continuous improvement efforts by keeping workspaces organized and hazard-free
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by Facilities or Maintenance leadership
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights when necessary
- Basic understanding of hand tools, painting equipment, and industrial cleaning methods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
