Staff Management | SMX has partnered with Dabico Airport Solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to join the Indianapolis, IN team. The Production Planner/Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting our high standards for customer service, inventory management, and configuration control.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to enhance the planning function.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in production planning, forecasting, and purchasing functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP business systems (e.g., MS Business Central/Navision).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing resources planning theories and industry practices.
  • APICS certification preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced factory environment.
  • Proficiency in standard business application software and manufacturing resource planning systems.


Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in various climate conditions.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Associate Requirements

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $25.00 - $31.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
