Staff Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to support hiring activities for a large-scale sporting event in Kansas City, MO.
- Location: Kansas City, MO
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
- Contract Period: 90 Days
- Schedule: Day Shift, Monday -Friday with an occasional Saturday

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Make outbound calls to applicants for pre-screening.
- Ensure applicants complete all required onboarding documents, initiate background check, schedule drug screening, and complete I-9 verifications and more.
- Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Act as the primary contact for new hires, answering questions and providing guidance from offer acceptance through their first day.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS data ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Job Requirements -
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, and new hire onboarding.
- Effective communication, organizational, and technical skills required.
- Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/ATS) preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong customer service mindset with a drive to exceed expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
