Staff Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to support hiring activities for a large-scale sporting event in Kansas City, MO.


  • Location: Kansas City, MO
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
  • Contract Period: 90 Days
  • Schedule: Day Shift, Monday -Friday with an occasional Saturday

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make outbound calls to applicants for pre-screening.
  • Ensure applicants complete all required onboarding documents, initiate background check, schedule drug screening, and complete I-9 verifications and more.
  • Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Act as the primary contact for new hires, answering questions and providing guidance from offer acceptance through their first day.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS data ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws.


Job Requirements -

  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting, and new hire onboarding.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and technical skills required.
  • Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/ATS) preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong customer service mindset with a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
