Job Responsibilities

• Operating a stand-up reach forklift to move materials.
• Loading and unloading trucks, rail cars, and cargo ships.
• Stacking and organizing materials in designated storage areas.
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks on the forklift.
• Using RF scanning equipment to track inventory.
• Assisting with order picking and packing.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Working with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations. 

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs in some cases).
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules.
• Experience with RF scanning equipment is sometimes required.
