Job Responsibilities
- Oversee key customer accounts and provide communication on order status, net terms and Collections. For some customers communication may occur daily or more frequently.
- Conduct contract review to include verification of net terms, pricing, lead times, PM Adders and part revisions. Then enter into Plex ERP system.
- Acknowledge customer orders and update advance ship notice (ASN) capability per purchase order.
- Generate and review customer open order report weekly and close out orders with short quantities.
- Work with Customers/Finance to clear invoice holds as required.
- Work with NPI team on new products and processes.
- Release customer orders daily for shipment.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address customer service issues.
- Work closely with Shipping/Receiving to ensure materials are received and shipped in a timely manner.
- Work with Sales Engineering to better understand Customer requirements and expectations going forward.
- Track customer orders, plans and forecasts and provide updates to Management.
Education /Skills /Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of Customer Service and Production Planning experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Automotive Industry experience is a big plus!
- Supply chain certifications preferred. Ex: APICS or CSCP
- Ability to elicit cooperation from team members and other departments.
- Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Capable of adapting and effectively responding to rapid changes in a fast paced environment.
- Analytical with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Quality conscious and attentive to detail.
- Self-starter with effective time management skills.
- Sound administrative & record keeping skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
