Job Responsibilities
- Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times. Must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment.
- Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices to promote a safe work environment.
- Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment problems.
- Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose, repair and implement permanent solutions to equipment failures.
- Perform and direct set-up and adjustments of equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that reduces operating costs.
- Cleans and lubricates machinery and equipment following preventive maintenance schedules along with identifying new needs for PM schedules that include suggested frequencies, type of maintenance, and why there is a need.
- Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and operators to diagnose problems and repairs of machine.
- Will communicate with supervisor to understand production priorities and stays focused on tasks.
- Train others to perform required tasks.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- 2 years maintenance experience required.
- Strong electrical/mechanical abilities, and experience with PLCs preferred.
- Machinery and welding experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, organizational skills, and ability to work well within a team. Perform well in a high intensity team environment. Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds, constant walking, standing, bending, twisting, stooping and reaching
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $30.00 - $30.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
