Our client in the Menands, NY area is searching for a motivated individual to join their team as an AP/AR Specialist. This is a Direct Hire onsite position, Monday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm, with the potential to move remote in the future. Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts payable, invoicing, collections, and cash application functions at the corporate level
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents
  • Reconcile and work received not invoice report for timely matching of AP invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve outstanding discrepancies quickly and effectively
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and internal/external customers with a high level of customer service
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High-volume data entry with exceptional speed and accuracy

  • Accuracy, detail-oriented, proactive with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work a full-time 40-hr minimum work week, on-site, Monday-Friday, and overtime as necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Long hours sitting, standing, and utilizing office equipment/computers

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to Lift 30 pounds

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $26.44 - $28.84 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
