Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all designated areas of the production floor, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris to meet sanitation standards.
- Use and handle cleaning chemicals safely, in accordance with WHMIS and manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor and report any potential maintenance or cleanliness issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards specific to pet food production.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety, environmental regulations, and food safety requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- 1-2 years' experience in sanitation or janitorial role.
- Must have good Communication skills (verbal).
- Consistent commitment to working safely.
- Demonstrated ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency using a creative and logical approach to resolution.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Work is performed on the production floor in a pet food manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to noise, raw materials, strong odors, and wet or slippery surfaces.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be always worn

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.05 - $19.05 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
