Description

SMX @ NIKE is seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team at the Nike Distribution Center on Shelby Drive in Memphis for weekend shifts. As a warehouse Material Handler, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods, ensuring that the high standards of Nike's distribution process are upheld. This is an entry-level position, previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is desired but not required.

Job Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, you will:

  • Process orders for shipment, including picking, packing, checking, and restocking
  • General warehouse duties
  • Handle computer data inquiries and special processing of customer orders
  • Uphold accuracy and quality standards for all processed orders

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with RF scan gun and computer inquiries/data entry
  • Accurate reading, counting, and ability to follow verbal and written directions
  • Capable of repetitive motions and lifting 50-70 lbs continuously
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed with little or no advance notice

Associate Requirements

  • Background Check

  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.50 - $16.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
