Description

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems or abnormalities in the machines
  • Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolves complex technical problems
  • Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters
  • Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years work related experience.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
  • Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics 
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of plumbing and electrical experience
  • Ability to communicate with project vendors/ suppliers
  • Proven experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
