Looking for a new opportunity as a Fresh Food Specialist? Join the Air Fayre team! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and managing fresh food inventory to support production operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, and coordinating with warehouse, supply chain, and production teams.


We are hiring for full-time, long-term positions in a fast-paced food production and warehouse environment. Associates will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, proper inventory rotation, and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive fresh food deliveries and verify items against purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Validate quantities, including previously shorted or pending items
  • Identify, document, and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods
  • Label racks and deliveries with correct PO information to ensure accurate system reconciliation
  • Maintain organized documentation for inventory tracking and audits
  • Communicate shortages and discrepancies to Supply Chain, leadership, and external partners
  • Track and follow up on outstanding items until resolved
  • Inspect incoming products for quality, freshness, specifications, and proper color coding
  • Organize food racks by market segment and departmental needs
  • Deliver products to production teams on schedule
  • Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation
  • Conduct inventory checks aligned with production cycles (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
  • Act as liaison with partners on supplies, crockery, and operational needs
  • Attend menu presentations to stay informed on product and menu updates
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and storage areas
  • Support warehouse and food packing teams as needed

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, food production, inventory control, or logistics preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counts and documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
  • Comfortable working in warehouse and food production environments
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift and handle moderate to heavy loads (as required)
  • Flexibility to work onsite and at partner locations as needed

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.70 - $19.70 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
