Staff Management | SMX is hiring Warehouse Packaging Associates in Pittsburgh, PA! In this role, you will be responsible for packing, palletizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an essential position that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards. This position is a full-time position, and the shift and pay are as follows:
Monday - Friday
- 1st / A Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm ($15.53/hour)
- 2nd / B Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm ($16.46/hour)
- 3rd / C Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am ($16.46/hour)
- Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm ($15.53/hour)
- Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am ($16.46/hour)

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring items are correctly sorted, labeled, and packaged for shipment.
- Lift, carry, and stack 10-20 lb boxes, often picking up 2-3 boxes at a time and placing them onto pallets.
- Properly stack pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping of products.
- Wrap finished pallets securely for shipment.
- Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a fast-paced work environment while meeting production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stand, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift, performing repetitive motions.
This is an entry level labor position. Requirements are as follows but not limited to:
- Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10-20 lbs consistently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.53 - $16.46 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
