Staff Management | SMX is seeking a Receptionist/HR Assistant to join our client's team and serve as the welcoming face of their organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various human resources functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Greet and assist associates and visitors, addressing their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate resources.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and document organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Handle mail and package deliveries, as well as routing them to the correct recipients.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining appointment records.
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of the organization's products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to associates and visitors.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for handling confidential information.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless front desk operation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Polite and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • No Drug Test Required

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $22.00 - $22.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
