Job Responsibilities
- Read and follow written work instructions as provided.
- Read and interpret complicated tool drawings.
- Fabricate and/or repair tools, fixtures and machine parts
- Manufacture quality products to meet customer requirements
- Do complicated set ups and operations on machine tools such as lathes, standard and CNC mills and EDMs, grinders, hone, saws, CAD CAM.
- Maintain a continuous material flow throughout the Tool & Die Process
- Design and fabricate simple or complex jigs and fixtures.
- Make decisions using math, charts, tables, formulas, and knowledge of machining techniques and methods.
- Other duties assigned or required for the department.
WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW
- Overtime is required on an as-needed basis.
- There is an on-call weekend rotation required to cover manufacturing downtime needs.
- Ability to proficiently use precise measuring equipment and gauges and work to extremely close tolerances.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to follow safety policies
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
