Staff Management | SMX has 1st Shift Warehouse Associate positions available in Chattanooga, TN. These are Temp-to-Hire positions with a leading electronics manufacturer that pays $16/hour. After 3 months and conversion, associates receive a $1,000 bonus and a pay increase to $17/hour. 1st Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM plus overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing general warehouse duties based on Company and customer requirements
  • Responsible for accurately shipping and receiving Company products, both physically and through NetSuite
  • Perform duties in both the Shipping & Receiving and Returns areas
  • Perform tasks in both the DTC warehouses
  • Ability to pick, fulfill, pack and ship orders
  • Perform tasks in FedEx/UPS/USPS system
  • Assist in conducting inventory cycle counts

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated reading comprehension
  • Demonstrated math aptitude
  • Acquired and demonstrated product knowledge sufficient to identify individual models
  • Physical ability to lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds on regular basis and up to seventy (70) pounds on an occasional basis
  • Frequent movement and activity required
  • Some experience Picking and Packing in an E-Commerce environment is a plus

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.00 - $16.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
