Job Responsibilities
- Closes out batches from the QC Lab through SAP computer system, and updates Pass/Fail status
- Releases or corrects incoming lots from production in a timely manner
- Maintains and updates product folders within the QC Lab
- Processes color corrections and assists QA Techs as necessary
- Builds samples, including mixing them, when needed to assist in Color Matching
- Works on special projects assign by supervisor
- Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment per established procedures
- Provides expertise and direction to QA Techs for effective execution of processes and procedures
- Keeps in communication with sales on needed Color matches
- Enters tars and processes TARS with customer due date in mind
- Runs samples as needed by Customers
- Completes and maintains all required system inputs/transactions. Responsible for data integrity
- Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
- Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods
- Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years related experience and or/ training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience with color adjustments, formulating, sample generation and/or color knowledge is preferred
- Prior experience working in Laboratory environment is preferred
- US High School diploma, GED equivalency or relevant experience
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (i.e. constant use of protective gear)
- Flexibility in shifts is a plus
