Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and other equipment to move materials through department processes
- Operate forklift to transport materials and in-process parts between multiple buildings
- Operate scales to weigh materials
- Transport material from storage racks to press
- Identify and remove scrap from presses
- Move product to appropriate staging area
- Unload incoming material
- Perform safety check on Forklift equipment at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Observe all plant safety rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to read, write, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Use arithmetic to add, subtract and multiply whole numbers and fractions
- 6 months of sit-down forklift experience preferred
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Stand for Shift Duration
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.05 - $16.05 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
