Staff Management | SMX is currently hiring Light Machine Operators in Slater, MO! Associates in this position help make a difference for the environment while working in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
This is a contract position with openings on the 1st and 2nd shift:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30am-3:00pm ($15.50/hr)
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday & alternating Fridays, 3:00pm-1:30am ($16.50/hr)

Job Responsibilities
Associates are responsible for assembling perforated and cylinder filters for a wide range of applications or operating sewing machines for production purposes. Basic functions include assembly, quality inspection, sorting, receiving, and packaging.
This position also has the following requirements:
- Lift 40-50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, move about for shift duration (8-12 hours)
- Detail orientated
- Manual dexterity
- Normal or corrected vision to read directions and visually inspect parts; and to distinguish colors
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop for objects
- Perform repetitive movement with arms and hands
- Must be able to read precise measurements down to 1/16th of an inch

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.50 - $16.50 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
