Job Responsibilities
- Conduct new start and continuous training in assigned departments
- Provide constant guiding and coaching floor presence for associates
- Conduct shift check-ins and assist the SMX Account Supervisor as needed
- Ensure safety standards are being followed
- Communicate policies, events, and changes to associates
- Understand when to escalate associate concerns and issues to SMX or Callaway leadership
- Respond immediately to any accident and complete accident report if account supervisor is not present
- Maintain continuous communication with SMX & Callaway leadership team and assist with other supervisory duties as needed
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred
- Forklift Experience (Cherry Picker and Reach - not required but preferred)
- Experience in a leadership/supervisory position
- Experience in training/coaching others
- Strong communication skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exhibit a strong commitment towards safety
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Flexible with scheduling and able to work overtime & weekends as needed
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 60 pounds
- Drug Test
- Stand for Shift Duration
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
