Staff Management | SMX is immediately hiring a Quality Assurance Associate for our food manufacturing Client in Brampton. This is a full time, 2-month contract position.

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine line checks including temperature, metal detector verification, weights, pouch integrity, and analytical tests (e.g., brix, pH, viscosity, water activity).
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and chart recorders.
- Record results on controlled documents accurately.
- Investigate and report on non-conformances to maintain quality standards.
- Collect various samples for testing.
- University degree or college diploma in Science (with Concentration in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology) or Food Science.
- Food industry experience considered a strong asset.
- Strong ability to work independently, multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Stand for Shift Duration
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
