Job Responsibilities

• Clean, breakdown and sanitize production equipment and machinery using appropriate tools and chemicals
• Proper cleaning of production utensils, ingredient bins and organic storage bins.
• Remove grease, oil, and residue from surfaces
• Remove and properly dispose of all refuse and organic material inside and outside of the facility.
• Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements pertaining to BRC, AIB, GMP and all other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations that apply.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors and work areas
• Use cleaning tools, including mops, brooms, vacuums, and floor scrubbers
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Working knowledge of chemical usage and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Cleaning, organizing, storage and restocking sanitation supplies.
• Maintain, clean and organize sanitation room.
• Dispense chemicals and other sanitation supplies to other employees.
• Perform High Lift or Scissor lift work assigned.
• Use scrubber machine and wet mop to clean the floors.
• Use special equipment to clean the floor drains.
• Clean bathrooms, locker rooms, and office areas as needed.
