Job Responsibilities
Maintenance Technicians install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial or industrial machinery in a pet food manufacturing site. The technician ensures all machines function properly through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance services.
- Own PM system for the area, focusing on Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Breakdown Elimination DMs and serves as the AM support DMS of the PM pillar.
- Drives for results in Planned and Unplanned downtime and owns the area PM Compliance and Breakdown Elimination.
- Build functional & technical skills of the AWTs.
- Is the technical expert of related equipment and discuss, coach, and train technicians and operators on the area equipment.
- Makes business decisions based on quantitative and qualitive data analysis.
- Participates in the development of and own portions of the 90 Day Loss Elimination Plan.
- Research areas of area improvement of area of responsibility.
- Coordinates planned work with service contractors and reliability team.
- Represents area maintenance at the daily FMOS meetings. Provides performance data for selected machines and communicates action plans.
- 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $30.00 - $30.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
